These cards using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps sets came out so cute! Kimmie is running a contest this month for a Guest Design Team spot. To enter, I needed to make two projects using KKS stamps. I have several sets so it was hard to choose. I decided to use 4 different sets to make these two adorable cards!
First up is You're Nifty. I thought this was a really sweet set. It comes with a great main image & 7 phrases! After coloring it, I used my Silhouette Cameo 3 to cut around the image. I pop-dotted the image onto the square of turquoise paper that I had stamped with the '50's-style glasses from Love Chemistry in turquoise ink. The "Thank You" greeting is from Sincere Thanks and "You Are Spectacular" is from You're Nifty. The card cut is from the Silhouette Software. I really love how this card turned out!
Unfortunately, as I was literally putting the final touches on the image I had just colored, I got red ink on his white shirt! I had some on my finger that I didn't know was there & touched his shirt! I almost cried. Well, what do I do? I used my Copic blending pen to get out as much as I could & then changed the color of his shirt! Thankfully, his shirt was white so it wasn't too big of deal. Here's the before & after of what I did!

Second card is Fancy Francy. She is so cute! I love the armoire & the shelf of crowns. She gave me some good hair practice, too. The armoire took some thinking to make sure I got it right. The "Happy Birthday" phrase is from another company. The flowers have been waiting in my studio for some time waiting for just the right project!
I really like to use sketches when designing my cards. Sometimes I follow them to a "T", sometimes I just use them for inspiration. I got this one from Freshly Made Sketches. I'm also entering this card in their contest! Here's the sketch I used:
