This week, Krafty Girl Jennifer is your hostess and her challenge theme for you is: 

CLEAN AND SIMPLE!

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

The monthly prize is a $25 voucher to the Krafty shop!!!

For this CAS challenge I chose to use Believe In YourElf. This little guy all tangled in the lights cracks me up! I thought he made for a cute reminder to be yourself & not someone else. For the background paper I used Doodlebug's Christmas Magic 6x6 Paper Pad. I used the Kraftin' Kimmie Dots Christmas to add just a little pizazz to the front of the card.

A while back I made a file to be able to cut out a base for the back of my phone so that I can customize my phone using my clear phone case! I decided to use Rock Around The Clock for my phone case for a while. Here she is cute as can be!!

I couldn't wait to get the idea out & turned into an actual card. I wrote up the sentiment "Let's Get Lit" myself because I had to have something to highlight their light up butts!

I love light up cards & the EZ Light from Pear Blossom Press makes them a snap!

Artful Angel Design Team Call

There's some pretty exciting things going at Artful Angel!! We are growing & constantly adding new products. I can't make samples to show off some of our products all on my own so I need a team to help me out! That's where you come in! I'm looking to bring on TWO team members to help me create & promote Artful Angel!

The Details:

* We need designers that love to create and share their creativity on their blogs and social media sites such as Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest & Facebook. You don't need to have an active blog but would be preferred! What you do need is a desire to create projects, share them on social media, & promote Artful Angel every chance you get. A huge bonus of you routinely create process videos!

* You must be able to take bright and professional quality photos to showcase our products!

* You will be required to create a minimum of three projects each month using products available at Artful Angel! Once in a while we may invite you to participate in a blog hop or IG hop.

* This position will require you to be timely & creative. If you can handle that, give it a shot!

* You will receive at least 2 4x6 stamp sets each month with which to create. There may be occasion when you will receive additional things with your monthly shipment. You will also get a special discount code that will allow to purchase select items from the shop at 50% off.

* This call is open to people living in the United States & Canada.  Call ends 2/21/22 at 11:59 pm CST. The term will last from March-August.

The How:

* Please send 3-5 projects that best showcase your design style so we can get a good feel for you & your creativity!  We are looking for all design styles, so show us what you've got!

* If you create process videos, please share a short process video of how you would create for Artful Angel. Process videos are not a requirement but if you want to create process videos for Artful Angel, please submit one for us to view.

* Please be sure to take bright, professional quality photos against clean backgrounds so your beautiful work shines through without distractions!

* You do not have to use Artful Angel products on your application project. However, bonus points if you do!!

* When applying, please put ‘DT Call’ in the subject line of your e-mail. Please include the following in the body of your email:

~links to all social media platforms

~a short bio

 ~your design history (previous DT experience is not required)

~photos of your project

February Krafty Peeks... Day THREE! Special Delivery!

   Today is our third day of Krafty Peeks for the February Release

I'll be honest...I wasn't sure what to make with this new set called Special Delivery. Then, it hit me...a sweet baby girl card! I used the Echo Park Welcome Baby Girl Mega 6x6 paper pad to turn Special Delivery into a card to celebrate a special delivery!! I think it turned out pretty perfect for celebrating the birth of a sweet baby girl!

For the outside & inside sentiment, I used sentiment boxes from the paper pack!

You'll see more of our February goodies tomorrow, and then everything will be released after our LIVE Online Release Party on Saturday afternoon at 2pm ET in the Krafty Friends facebook group!

I absolutely LOVE Rock Around The Clock!! I used the Doodlebug Rainbow Pack Swiss Dots 6x6 paper pad, Doodlebug Lots Of Love 6x6 paper pad, & matching 12x12 collection pack for the envelope. I am completely in love with the mini slimline, too. It's fun to used a different size play with making scenes differently. I made a matching envelope with my We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board.

Rock Around The Clock will be in the Artful Angel shop on Saturday!!

For my card, I used the new Lavish Lilac with the new Musical Melodies stencil to create a tone-on-tone background. To create this CAS card, I stamped Lulu & colored her up in a coordinating color. I stamped the sentiment also in the Lavish Lilac. Instead of backing it with a solid piece of lavender, I mimicked a musical staff! I used various purple Kraftin' Kimmie Dots as an accent.

On the inside, I again used the Lavish Lilac with the Musical Melodies stencil to create a fun border on the outside edges of card.

Guest Design Team Member for February! First Krafty Challenge-Hearts!

 I thought it would be super fun to create a love or Valentine's-themed card by going outside of my box & not using a Valentine's set! I've been wanting to play with these sweet little chameleon's from Leapin' Lizards & this was the perfect opportunity! I chose to use the new Lots Of Love from Doodlebug to create the card! I then used the 12x12 Lots Of Love to make the matching envelope with my We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board. I can't tell you how much I love that thing!!
