Hello Angels! DT Kim taking over the blog today! I am so excited to share a project that I made for an event in the Artful Angel Takes Flight Facebook Group that took place earlier today! To celebrate the launch of the amazing new Artful Angel stamp line, and more specifically the launch of the Savannah series, I hosted a Mystery Craft Along. Don't know what that is? Keep reading!
In case you missed it, Artful Angel released the Savannah - Popping By stamp set last month! This adorable 3 x 4 stamp set includes the main image of Savannah the Sloth popping out of a floral bush, a rainbow, and two sentiments.
OK, so anyhow, earlier today, in the Facebook group, we held a Mystery Crafty Along event. A supply list was provided a week ahead of time to allow participants to have all of their supplies ready to go. While the event focused on the Savannah image, any stamped image would work. During the event, I posted a clue every 10 minutes, and at the end of the hour, the participants had completed a super cute fun fold card! If you have ever participated in a Blind Scrap, the concept is the same, but you create a card rather than a scrapbook layout.
I really had a great time creating this card for the event. I also used the fantastic Newton's Nook Springtime 6 x 6 Paper Pad, which is also available in the shop!
